Alcazar

Since opening its doors in 2000, Alcazar has fast become Southern California’s premier destination for Middle Eastern dining.

Featuring an elegant Oriental decor, a garden setting and live entertainment, this sprawling restaurant specializes in authentic Lebanese cuisine.

Alcazar’s menu offers a wealth of classic dishes and some new takes on Mediterranean staples, accentuating the healthy yet robust fare of the region. Mezzas include vegetarian favorites like hummus, which comes in many variations, mutabbal, tabulleh, stuffed grape leaves and falafel, as well as several shellfish and meat delicacies. In addition to the signature kabab plates, the sumptuous main entrées comprise rare specialties such as Lebanese stews, imported fresh Mediterranean sea bass, shawermas, frog legs and quail.

Alcazar complements its hearty dishes with a full bar, including renowned Lebanese araks and beer, a comprehensive selection of California and imported wines, and other spirits.

With its graceful Middle Eastern furnishings and a relaxed, spacious environment, the ambience at Alcazar is as romantic as it is suited for family dining and large banquets. One of the restaurant’s chief attractions is its covered patio area, nestled in a pleasant garden setting. Here guests can enjoy an after-dinner ergile, or water pipe, the perfect accompaniment to Middle Eastern coffee and luscious desserts.
